How To Make Wealth From Health - April 18, 2010 - Segment Two
How To Make Wealth From Health – Caller Ryan Bishel, Managing Director of Champions’ Quest, a varsity and college prep athlete academy dedicated to student athletes, explains the mission behind Champions’ Quest training programs. They focus on young athletes ages 8-18, helping those athletes fulfill their dreams of playing collegiately, and perhaps even professionally. They train athletes in all areas, from mainstream sports like football and baseball, to the less traditional like figure skating, motocross riding, cheerleading, and archery. Much like traditional schools have courses on the fundamentals like English, science, and math, Champions’ Quest has courses in speed, strength, and agility. Each area is broken down to a school-like function: students take notes on subjects and they are tested every quarter with a performance analysis. Currently, Ryan says, all of the training is done in-house at their Los Alamitos facility, but they are just starting to do some on-site work. The company has done some research, and found over 2,000 different areas in the USA that they could franchise. They’ve also enjoyed some major growth recently because athletes are using their system to get into college via scholarships. As of now, over 50 athletes with college playing experience have gotten scholarships, including 10 in their graduating class this year. Champions’ Quest provides year-round courses, but they will also have summer courses available this year. For more information, visit their website at www.championsquest.com.
