Many Non-Profits Struggling

I am attending a board meeting for the national board of VOA in DC this weekend. It seems that many non-profits are in the same position- reduced funds and limited options. VOA is facing a serious loss in its pension plan and must find novel ways to rectify the situation. As a business owner I have had to make hard choices and I have to urge my fellow board members to bite the bullet. Cannot just hit the rest button.

I don’t think I ever realized how good we had it for the last 7 years….
